Gerd vom Bruch has been an excellent player himself. Before Gerd vom Bruch moved into professional coaching and football management he had been working as a purchaser within the steel industry for more than 10 years – son knowing how to negotiate.

He had worked 27 years as coach i.e. as Head Coach for Borussia Mönchengladbach, Alemannia Aacehn, Wuppertaler SV and RW Oberhausen. While his time as coach he promoted and formed young players such as Stefan Effenberg, Karlheinz Pflipsen and Martin Max in Mönchengladbach as well as Torsten Frings in Aachen. Furthermore Gerd vom Bruch negotiated as Players Agent the first professional contract for Sebastian Deisler.

Today his clients are players like Marcell Jansen, Marcel Ndjeng, Patrick Helmes and Alexander Meyer. They are working with since a long time.
